Master Forsythe has a passion for working with youth of all ages and has done so over the past 10 years.  Aside from teaching Tae Kwon Do, he has provided one on one and group counseling to youth and adults, and continues to provide ABA therapy to special needs children.  He currently runs the martial arts program at San Diego Global Vision Academy for grade levels K-8th.  The goals that he has for his students are that they apply the lessons learned in Tae Kwon Do to their everyday life.  He is committed to helping youth develop into positive adults; achieve academic success, and encouraging students to find their passion in life.  Master Forsythe has been studying martial arts for the past 20 yrs and is a fourth degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do.  He continues to compete in sparring competitions from the local to national level.  A strong proponent for safety, he teaches the highly effective self-defense system known as Krav Maga, empowering individuals with methods for survival should any threat present itself. Some of his personal titles include:

  • San Diego Martial Arts Association TKD Champion in 2011 & 2012
  • World Tae Kwon Do Federation California State Champion 2001
  • World Tae Kwon Do Federation California State Champion 1998
  • World Tae Kwon Do Federation National Champion 1998

Master Forsythe see's martial arts as a vehicle to change oneself, and to inspire others.  To him, martial arts are not a sport; they are a lifelong commitment to self improvement.  The belts that students earn should not be the ultimate goal but are bench marks that track their progress.  He believes that martial arts are like any other relationships; you get out of it what you put into it.
